Kidney diseases ;

Currently,around 85lac people in the world are suffering from various kidney diseases.  Chronic kidney disease (CKD) causes 24 million deaths every year. Thus,it ranks sixth among that cause the fastest death in the world. After that, there was an acute kidney injury (AKI) this disease is caused by CKD.85% of them belong to the poor and middle class. 

World kidney day is celebrated on March 14 worldwide and programmes, seminars and the walk is organised related to treatment and care of kidney diseases are held across the country at public and private levels. 

So by celebrating only one day, we don't fulfill the objectives that should be achieved regarding this chronic disease. 

Here is some information about kidney stones, a common kidney disease. 

Kidney  stones;

Kidney stones consist of insoluble  and accumulated solid minerals that hinder the release of water from the body. This mineral is mostly consist on calcium. But they can also contain other compounds, taking the form of stone,and the size of the self can b e as large as a golf ball. And they are small enough to go out in the urine. However, if it is large, it causes a lot of pain. 

Symptoms;

Symptoms of kidney stones don't appear until the stone has passed into the ureter.Common symptoms of kidney stones include:


Severe pain in the neck or kidneys 

Bleeding in urine 

Nausea or vomiting 

Pus or white blood cells in the urine 

Decreased  urination 

Fever or chills due to infection 

Complications;

If the kidney stones are in excess, many complications can arise, even the bladder duct can be blocked. 

According to research, dangerous diseases can arise from kidney stones. 

The main reason for this is drinking less  water People who drink 8 to 10 glasses of water a day have a much lower risk of developing kidney stones .Due to the uric acid is not diluted and the urine becomes acidic. This increase in acidity increases the chances of stone formation. 

The facts;

Kidney stones can occur in women and men between the ages of 30 and 50.

Once a stone has passed, the chances of recurrence increase.

Certain medications can also cause kidney stones. 

According to research of scientists, migraine and epilepsy drugs are more than likely to cause kidney stones. 

In addition, long-term use of calcium and vitamin d can also  leads to gallstones. 

Other causes include an unbalanced diet or diets high in protein and sodium. 

Slow lifestyle, obesity, high blood pressure and conditions in which calcium is weak in the body. 

Such as gastric high, bypass surgery ,infantry, or chronic diarrhoea etc. 

Treatment;

For this treatment, you should always consult a specialist doctor who will tell you how to pass kidney stones. 

Precautions and beneficial foods;

First of all, you should adopt the habit of drinking more water. 

If your urine is yellow or dark in colour ,it is sign that your body is not getting enough water. 

Also,there are foods that keep you away from this disease and can flush out even minor stones in 48 to 72 hours. 

The best among them is kidney-shaped  beans,boil it for 6 hours and then filter the water,drink it after every 2 hours. After few days ,it's best results will emerge. 

Apart from this,Basil,Dates,Grapes,celery Pomegranate, also protect you from kidney stones .
