Monkeypox

I  will share with you in this blogpost  What is monkeypox.

Monkeypox;

It is a disease that  spreads by the pox virus. Monkeypox in humans are similar  to small pox.But their intensity is somewhat less.

Early symptoms of  monkeypox include  fever, headache, muscle aches and fatigue. 

Whitin one to three days of the appearance of the above initial symptoms, pustules start to appear on the body of the effected patient. And often it starts from the face and then gradually spreads over the  whole body. The disease can last for two to four weeks in an infected person. 

Spread infected people;

Monkeypox spreads  to a person when they came into contact with a person or animal or something that is infected with the virus. The Virus enters the body through food, skin,respiratory tract, such as the eyes, nose and mouth. 

To prevent the spread of this virus from animal to human, it can be done by preparing meat or any fluids of this animal.

Most of  the human-to-human  spread of this infection is through invisible respiratory droplets. Moreover, the virus can spread if the affected person's fluids or used  clothes  are touched. 

CAUTION ⚠️ 

The following precautions can be taken to stay safe from the monkeypox virus. 

Staying away from animals suspected of carrying the virus,including sick and dead animals. 

All people who have come in contact with infected animals keep away from them. 

Isolate infected people;

Take special care of cleaning after coming in contact with infected people. 

And wash your hands thoroughly under running water. 

And use sanitize. 

Treatment;


At that time there was no specific treatment for this virus, however, antiviral drugs and specific injections are being prescribed in all over  the world to prevent this disease.
